WHAT IS A PEACH BUILDER® RESISTANCE BAND?
It is a band used for strength training. It is used to target and activate your peach (booty).
WHY SHOULD I USE A RESISTANCE BAND?
If you want to tone and build your peach, the most important step is to activate it. This will ensure that you are actually using it during a workout. People who don't do this, often end up compensating, and use their quadriceps, lower back and hamstrings in place. A strong and well functioning peach will not only give you confidence, but will help to maximise your performance and reduce the risk of pain and injury.
I'VE NEVER WORKED OUT BEFORE, WHICH BAND DO I USE?
It largely depends on an individual’s strengths and weaknesses in certain movements. Generally, we recommend starting out with the PEACH BUILDER resistance bands and progressing to the Advanced PEACH BUILDER fabric resistance band from there.
HOW DO I USE THE BANDS?
The exercises you can do with them are limitless. They can be used exclusively or to enhance traditional exercises like squats. Check out our Social Media handles for some inspiration.
WHAT ARE THE BANDS MADE OF?
WILL THE LATEX BANDS SNAP?
Because of the high-quality latex, they can handle large amounts of tension. We offer four differing thicknesses; light, medium, heavy and extra heavy. This enables you to pick which band is right for which exercise. Remember, they are essentially rubber bands, so be careful not to overstretch them.
CAN I WASH THE BANDS?
We recommend wiping them down with a damp cloth and letting them air-dry in a cool place out of direct sunlight. Do not use any soaps or oils on them, as these can break down the natural latex.
IS IT NORMAL FOR THE LATEX BANDS TO BE STICKY?
Over time it is normal for natural latex to become a little bit sticky. We recommend a light dusting with Talcum powder from time to time. Make sure it is fragrance free though, as oils and perfumes aren't good for the latex.
HOW DO I STOP THE BANDS FROM ROLLING DOWN?
Due to the nature of the latex, this is something we try our best to avoid but can sometimes happen. What we recommend is altering the position of the band, for example placing it higher or lower on you legs depending on which exercise you’re doing. It can also help to use a lighter band in place of a heavier if the exercise requires a big range of motion, such as glute kickbacks. Slow, controlled movements are often best to minimise this happening.
HOW SHOULD I STORE MY BANDS?
Make sure you are storing them in a nice cool spot. Try not to leave them in hot places, like the car or direct sunlight, as this can dry them out and reduce the life of your bands.
HOW DO I CLEAN MY PEACH BUILDER® BAR PAD?
These can also be wiped down with a damp cloth and air-dryed in a cool place out of direct sunlight. Do not use any soaps or oils on them, as these can break down the foam.
HOW FAST CAN I EXPECT TO SEE RESULTS?
While individual results may vary, it can take anywhere from 8-12 weeks to see a noticeable difference in your peach size. We encourage you to consume a healthy, balanced diet and use the bands 2-3 times a week.
